Consistent with my last note. Exceptionally well balanced wine in terms of acidity vs sweetness, with a cornucopia of intense Riesling fruit. All I have to say is WOW.

This is such a beautiful wine. Pale lemon core, with strong green reflections. Pure, fresh grape and green apple on the nose — distinctly less tropical than the first bottle I tasted (though this bottle is well chilled, while the first one was basically at cellar temperature). At this temperature, the level of sweetness seems right on point, and perfectly balanced by the wine's crisp acidity. The fruit is magnificently pure and intense, with a long length. I would surely place this on a par with some of my very favorite producers. I am sure this will age very, very gracefully, but it is so damn good I just can't keep my mitts off of it.

Gott im Himmel, the aromatics on this wine are off the hook (maraschino cherry, pineapple, mangosteen). Pale lemon core with green reflections. Unusually sweet for a Spatlese, but with the acidity to balance things out. Incredibly rich and full-bodied for a wine with 8% alcohol. I probably should have left this alone for at least another 10 years, but it's so delicious.

Boy howdy, this is a big, pleasing wine - very sweet, but there's lots of acidity and exuberant sponti. Peach and lime so much more, classic Mosel in profile with auslese-weight extract and sugar. The flavors cling on the palate, refusing to let go. Great stuff.

A bit sweeter than I expected but I loved this wine. It just has such great density.
