When I first tried this a little over a year ago it was way too acidic and hard to drink. Now it’s evening out and some funk is starting to show. I have plenty more in the cellar and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops. Enjoyed with a ribeye steak. I bought a case for work and have been storing it in my basement. I think I’ll keep it

Beautiful, deep purple colour. The nose has a sprinkling of white pepper, deep blood plum and cherry fruit and some camphor. The palate is pure and concentrated with the creaminess of the vintage and excellent detail. It is fresh and vibrant and such a delicious drink now although it should age effortlessly for 10+ years.

PNP. Cork perfect. Color inky purple. Nose has dense black and blueberry fruit that borders on VA. Swishing shows both acid and tannin but both of these are mellowed by the fruit density. The varietal Syrah is classically expressed with sipping, and this has a polish well above its pay grade. Second lower tier wine I have tried from this producer that I enjoy very much. Can't wait to taste his high end stuff

Delicious, fresh and stylish. Very strong considering it is an entry level wine with a very affordable price.
