  • Medium yellow color. The nose was very sulphury and reductive and muted at first and the wine needed a longer decant and a good half hour in the glass to show what it had. Then you had aromas of dried pear, crushed rock and quince as well as freshly cut mushrooms. In the mouth, I liked it much better than in the nose, it was really silky in texture, well structured, dense, but not heavy and very very long.
