  Served double-blind, iirc, it has maybe an hour of air before serving (slow-O). Seems like it's right in the pocket now. Good flavors, definitely leans mature (in a good way, not over the hill) and still offers good sapidity. Avg complexity and finish. Notwithstanding all that, it was a joy to drink. Now or the next several years for my taste. recommended

  This bottle was quite a step back from the previous one. The nose had some real Bordeaux charm - cassis, cherry, a little leather lurking in the background. The palate was good but didn't show a lot of depth or complexity. Earthy cherry, ok balance, modest finish. Good with pork ribs.

  Le vin de l'année ? En tous cas un immense plaisir à boire cette bouteille, qui s'est magnifiquement présentée. Le nez de Bordeaux à maturité, avec une touche de fumé qui m'aurait fait partir à Pessac si j'avais été à l'aveugle. La bouche en douceur, tanins surfins et complètement fondus, mais un équilibre magistral et une longueur plus qu'honorable. Qui fait encore des vins comme celui-ci, pas de bois, et une pureté de fruit fabuleuse. Grand vin, à la buvabilité dangereuse, on en boirait des seaux ! 94+ (dans une fenêtre de dégustation optimale, il ne gagnera rien à être attendu à mon avis)
