Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of deep ruby colour, with fading rims and legs. Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of black fruit of blackberry, cassis and dark plum, oak notes of smoke, kernel notes of chocolate, pungent spice of black pepper, animal notes of meaty, maturity notes of forest floor. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium (+) tannin of ripe and velvety texture, medium (+) alcohol and full body, with medium (+) intensity flavours of black fruit of blackberry, cassis and dark plum, oak notes of smoke, pungent spice of black pepper, kernel notes of cocoa. The wine has a medium (+) finish. Conclusion: Very good quality Barossa Shiraz with a very intense nose showing great complexity, with plenty of ripe black fruit, spicy and smoky, lots of chocolate, plus some meaty and forest floor. On the palate the wine has robust structure, with ripe tannin, muscular with very concentrated flavours as well as a good length on the finish. It is ready to drink now but can benefit from further ageing of another 3-5 years.

The wine looks ruby colored. Long lasting on the pallet. There is light sediment in the bottle.

Wonderful nose & still comes across young and would likely improve with a couple of more years to soften but a great wine!

Decanted 2hrs . Enjoyable but a bit disappointing at this price point and pedigree. Also difficult to know whether this will improve
