Delicioso. Final longo.

16-18 months new French oak. Big nose this time, violets, blackberry, plum, baking spice. Palate nicely expressive, layers, showing it's pedigree better than last tasting.

From 1929 vines in clay and gravel soil. Las Compuertas is a subzone of Lujan de Cuyo.
Similar style to their Cabernets, nice sense of smooth age starting to show. For a Malbec, this is very good, but for the price, it's not the best value.
