  • The bursting nose wafts a series of high-toned aromas, including candied cherry, huckleberry, crushed Sweetarts, scorched Earth, light tobacco leaf, orange pith. The body is medium in stature with bright acidity that elevates the palate, while integrated tannins that give the body a nice amount density and backbone. The structure, balance and lift on this wine is almost magical. Flavors come in the way of semi-tart red pit and berry fruit, tanned tobacco, orange juice, tar and peppered salmon jerky. This is in a really nice place now but will do well for at least a few more years.

  • What a surprise - complex, fresh and simply brilliant for it's price.

And it's a Nebbiolo, fer sure.

July 1th 2018: Sweet fruit, still primary. Looking forward to follow this, as it has years to go and the potential to develop into something really special.

June 20th 2020: Still fresh, even more complexity. Great perfume, still primary with crushed strawberries at the fore. Colour has a hint of brick to it. A lovely wine, wish I had more than a bottle left. Will try to keep my hands off the last one for another 3-5 years.

  • Rich aromas of red fruits: plums and cherries with dried red rose and grilled sage. Juicy with plush tannins and high acidity.

  • Nose: bright raspberries, orange zest, petrol and dandelion. Wet soil. Palate: Medium body, fine grainy and integrated tannins. Bright acidity. Very smooth and lush mouthfeel. The fruits are red with raspberries, strawberries and plums. Also quince. Black pepper and Allspice. Tar. There's a green note that's both vegetal and herbal. With extended air comes watermelon. This is quite good but also quite difficult to rate due to its highly unusual profile.
