It is no longer pale yellow, having evolved into a medium (+) gold. The nose is clean, developing, with aromas of lemon, hazelnut, wet stone. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol (12.5%) with a drying, slightly bitter phenolic finish. The palate is consistent with the nose, with ripe lemon and grapefruit predominating. Very tasty, with medium (+) flavor intensity and length. It is still drinking fine, but it was probably at its best a year ago. Drink now, not intended for aging.

Pale, straw color, with excellent clarity. Fresh, lemon, citrus aromas w/chalky mineral quality. Lemons, chalk, grapefruit, & green apples in the mouth. Very crisp, but not too acidic. Refreshing, if a bit austere. Lingering lemon flavor at the end.
