  Un très beau vin, encore jeune, astringence présente. Sur la cerise, boisé, cassis, petit côté animal, un coté vert, feuilles mortes. Un grand cabernet américain, profond, à boire dans les 5-10 prochaines années.

  If you’ve had a great BTK, you’ve had this wine, really good on PnP, really great after 30 min.

  This elegant and concentrated BTK needs a good decant - or ideally another year or two - to truly unfold, since it seems to be holding its cards close to the vest at the moment (and, if that's your thing, great - but this wine didn't seem ready to play just yet). It is pretty, but not substantial, at least at the moment.
  
  Light red in color and medium in body, the wine offer aromas of black cherry, crushed rock, and dried rosemary, with a hint of white flowers. The flavors take some time to unfold, with notes of sour cherry, leather, and graphite, with a silky and lingering finish. Maybe just a funny phase. 15% alcohol. 94+ for now, with upside in 2023 or later.

  Drank Coravin over several nights, each night with at least an hour of air. Better in later drinkings and with more air, so need a lot of decant time. Somewhat disjointed & spicy, more syrah like at times. But big fruit clearly Napa Cab. Given it at least 3 more years before next bottle.

  A Cabernet of confidence and grace, the terroir of To-Kalon screams Pauillac with its unmistakable profile of cassis and graphite. Smaller yields of tiny berries from gravelly loam soils bring about intense fruit flavors, luxurious aromatics and opulent texture defining a wine of “the highest beauty.”
