One hour decant. Very deep, nearly opaque, but very bright/electric color. Sweet tobacco, juniper, violet, black cherry and black currant on the smoky nose. Smooth, heavy, mouth filling palate, with good acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish. Carmenere is both Syrah-esque and PV-esque, perhaps the best of each. Very fun, but not a daily drinker. Only 99 cases of this made.
