Sweet prune, stalky with sour cream and mesquite sauce. Very unique nose. Balanced with nice acidity. Fresher than I thought it would be. Drying tannin on the finish with tart fruit, wood and leather notes. A little past its prime but not too bad. Drink up.

Tastes like a rustic rhone. Tar, leather, dark berry fruits. Finish lasts well past a minute. Terrific at open, more integrated after an hour. Good 2 days after open, faded on open +3. Drank on its own, but would be good with a stroganoff or beef/tomato dish. Ready to drink now and for another couple of years, I'd guess
