11,12,13...19 disgorged Oct 2021. Smells like a nice Jura chard. The palate has decent complexity but the texture is a little light and watery for me. Not bad but I had higher expectations for this bottle.

2017 base (2011-2017 perpetual reserve), my second of two bottles. I understand that some people have had mixed success with bottles from this domaine, but I just love this cuvee. For me, it has a lovely, broad and oxidative character without being overly rich or heavy that you don't want to have more than a few glasses. I'm not sure if this is more about a house stye or the perpetual reserve, but I'm a big fan. Really solid value for me at $65.

mild salmon in color, very fresh, light raspberry, have to let all the bubbles settle down to get the true essence. quite acidic; more refreshing than satisfying

Logged this in as the 2019, although it's a perpetual back to 2011. October 2021 disgorgement, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay without dosage.. Has the golden hue that I often find in the R-L wines. Aromatics are cool, evocative. My initial reaction when I first opened it was white pepper and a little brown spice, but I suspect that the subjectivity factor of some other smart tasters could find some different things that I just cant identify. In the end, I just dig how it smells. The palate has some of the R-L oxidative style, with an apple pie filling character. Then, sweet lime, blood orange, cranberry, finishing with a nice salty lemony mix that is cleansing. These wines attract me, and yet I know they can polarize and some smart people I drink with just think they can be weird or not to their taste.
