Opened and decanted an hour ahead of pulled pork. Was accessible in 10 min. Dark, purple-crimson color. The nose brings spring violets, cherry blossoms, cherry menthol, grape hard candy, and blueberry compote. The palate is medium, round, supple, and tangy, bringing blackberries, blackcurrant, plums, strawberries, soy sauce, pipe tobacco, coffee-mocha, and dark chocolate into a refined silky finish. This is a classic, elegant style high on the acid but low on the tannins. Drink 2020-2025. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 93.

Been over a year since my last bottle and still loving it. Pop and pour had black cherry flavors like last year. After a 2 hr decant the nose has blueberries with full mouthfeel and long dark berry finish. Can’t wait till next year to see how much further it evolves. Best Cab outside of Napa that I can remember.

This was a purchase off of the restaurant wine list. We thought it was a very good representation of a Santa Cruz mountain Cabernet. It had very well defined fruit flavors - yet nothing overbearing. It was well balanced and very enjoyable. The wine list states it as a 2013. Server brought the 2014 and said they were out of the 2013. I was a bit disappointed as I'm thinking the 2013 might have been better.

Started out very sharp so we let it sit. Nice dense fruit but light nose. Palate is nice after you let it sit. Very fruity but a little tight. Definitely needs some more age but the flavor is in the right direction.
