  • Developing tertiary toasty flavours with a lovely sparkle. A little short on the finish but a very nice wine cellaring well.

  • Quenching like Solo, this is an excellent Semillon from what was rated a poor vintage. Has a lemon sherbet texture, amusing itself in the background, hopefully will become more pronounced as it ages. Rich, beautifully balanced and acidity just right. I bought this thinking it was the 2014 vintage, and now we're going to spend the next 10 years together.

  • A high quality Semillon.
The Broke region is basically the other side of the mountain from the Pokolbin region and to my knowledge the only other vineyard in the area is Nightingale Wines.
This wine is drinking beautifully .
    The nose is floral/passionfruit/fruit salad/sweet apple....make a choice.
The colour is pale yellow and clear.
The wine is soft on the tongue light lemon, smooth finish delightful.
These are small parcels of fruit 100 hectares/single vineyard around $30.00AU a bottle.
I rate this similar to the Gundog and in front of the Brokenwood and the Tyrrells .
Maybe the Brokenwood has more legs but only time will tell.
a very nice Semillon drink now to 2022.
