This is very solid and food friendly. Much better than a bottle of the 2002 that I tried also today and poured out. Lively fruit, good acid, and some moderate earth on the finish. K was less enthused about it, but a good value at the $15 I paid from Garagiste

Quite tart out of the bottle so I decanted through an aerator. Smoothed it right out. Drank almost like a Gamay.

easy to drink, not remarkable but not bad at all for the value.

Red currant, cedar and thyme. Medium plus acidity and tannins.

Good. Initially tight, but opened up over a few days to reveal bright fruit and some nice earthy bits. Lots of structure; should age for a while.
