  • Not as grapefruits as expected, less overall fruit. Perhaps past prime. Went well with turkey thigh

  • To my recollection, this is the first Navarro Gewurztraminer I can recall ever tasting. The color of pale straw. The nose is all ginger, petrol, orange and tangerine peel and zest. The palate precisely tracts the nose with laser exactness. A forward flavor wine with a short finish, but strong minerality on the finish. Bone dry on a mid-weight frame. 13.5% alc. With soup and sausage (pork) balls. Recommended.

  • PnP, chilled. Light straw color. Drank about flat. A bit over the top, lost much of it's fruit since last bottle. Nothing off technically, just a bit tired. $25

  • Good God man. For the BerserkerDay special of $11.00, this bottle rocked! Wonderful nose that all of your wine friends would love. Clear yellow color, like a still lake. Very smooth. A hint of fruit. Yummy! This is QPR wine of the year so far! Drink or hold. Either way, you'll enjoy. We did not drink this with food. Can't wait to taste the short pour that was left for tomorrow.

This wine was so much better than the 2010 Anderson Conn Valley Eloge that I drank last night. And that was about $30 for a 375. The Navarro left the ACV in the dust.
