Seems to be falling apart already. Nice yeasty nose, pale deep rose appearance, descent bubbles and pretty energetic, good entry, but slightly bitter enough to be noticed and distractive. Long finish with and a lurk of wood. Drink...

Tasted along Pierre Larmandier's Rosé de Saigneé 2014, which is pure Pinot Noir from Vertus Premier Cru with dosage of 3 grams. Obviously more evolved right from the colour, but also on the nose and palate. The fruit is still very fresh, but with more evolved undergrowth and toast. On the palate Ambonnay is drier and thicker. Both very long, with great character and sense of place.

Revisited after 5 months. Kicking and elegant. Serious and tasty. Ripe nose of small red fruits, rich and juicy taste, almost sweet with piercing acidity, grippy tannins and salty mineral finish. Very serious, very fresh, with great energy and good structure. This one is for ages.

Solid, elegant Rose. Expected more depth and power from Marguet.
