Last of three bottles. Didn't bother with decanting, after previous bottles fell away after a couple of hours of air. Slight brick colour. Dusty, oaky nose. Subtle black fruit. Palate has concentrated dark fruits and accompanying spice. Tannin is all but gone, and the finish is on the short side. Balanced flavours and still quite delicious, but possibly better 2010-2013?

Intense bouquet of black berries and spices and pepper. Fully ripe it gives an interesting melange of fruits, earth and even some black truffles. Wine is full bodied and quite long, the acidity keeps the richness under control.
