Pop and pour. Lovely dark red fruit, herbs, medicinal notes, and that characteristic cherry pit note. On the palate: good acidity, soft leather, black cherry, and a touch of spice on the velvety tannic finish. Age has been very kind to this btl, and if this is representative, then drinking fantastically now!

Much improved since Dec'17. Was accessible on opening and brings a crunchy, linear core of blackberry, strawberry, and rhubarb fruit with red cherries and lingering bitters on the finish. Drink 2020-2023. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.

gone from the grapey crunhy young phase to the more serious phase as the fruit structure tightens up and the wine get less playful and more serious... good core of fruit that is has some kirsch in there, same structure... for me this remains very good to excellent beaujolais though in this and later phases of development i'd much rather have pinot noir to be honest... gamay does fun really well for me... serious not as well.

Light nose, strawberry bright red color.
Flavorful and layered.
Finish is light, clean and no tannins.
Well above expectations.

NFN - a bit savory and branches on the nose. Raspberries on the palate. Well structured.
