Pale golden, clear in glass. Honeysuckle and citrus on nose. Zingy, zesty with hints of unripened grapefruit and minerality. Refreshingly crisp and dry on the finish. Paired well with Gouda cheese and crackers. Probably a better food wine than on its own. (C+).

tasted blind. clear with straw color and low concentration. lemon peel, green apple and a hint of grass. dry, medium bodied with grapefruit, peach, lemon, and mineral flavors. medium acidity and alcohol with a solid finish. quite complex.

Dinner with Steve Sigmond and Chris Larson: Served way too cold. Light, watery gold in color. The nose gives pleasant apricot and pear notes. The taste is a little sweeter than I expected. Plenty of good fruit, but lacking acidity. No minerality or other flavors -- just simple fruit. This may have shown better if the temperature was correct, but we moved on to the real wines before this happened. Certainly a decent value at $14 per bottle on the restaurant wine list.

Dinner w/ Dave & Chris (JP's American Bistro, Minneapolis): Ordered off the list. Pleasant and simple, showing some Sauvignon Blanc-like grassiness, citrus, and flint.
