  • Used in beef bourgonion. In the glass Glass was pleasant relatively light and was bigger on the nose than palate

  • Medium-to-high intensity cherry-purple color, to rim (10/10). Medium intensity fruit (blackcurrant and others), oak and smoke nose, fairly rich overall. Merlot typicity, mostly. Nice, pleasant. (22/25). Palate is smooth, tannin-wise, but with good acidity. Has mostly merlot character, fruit mostly up-front with a bit of oak behind. Medium to full bodied, good flavor intensity. Very good with food (beef). (21/25). Pretty short finish (16/25). Overall impression = 12/15, for a total score of 81. Actually liked the wine more than the modest score would indicate, because it has some complexity and more concentration than the average Bordeaux A.C.
