  Drank alongside the 2014 Wight. This was a little light a green upon opening, but opened up quickly. Good color (no bricking), nice fruit, and a lot of acid. Great value, but a bit thin when compared to the Wight. Still, really, a nice wine.

  Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of soapstone, flowers, currants, red fruits and a dash of white pepper. Flavors of red currents, raspberries and cherries. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

  Opened, poured and let sit about 1/2 hr. Then: Slight nose of reddish-darkish fruit. Some warmth on the first few sips, with some heat on the finish. Tannins noticeable, but not a problem or distraction. Mostly reddish fruit. After about 1/2 hr from first sip, this mellows/softens a bit and the warmth/heat is not an issue. By the end of the glass this is drinking nicely, but lacking classic cab profile. Feels/tastes like something could be there with more time in the bottle. I'll try my next one in 2023.`
