This is all nicely integrated into a subtle lovely package. There is some mushroom, and some subtle cherry fruit, with some milk chocolate. All of this is supported by a nice medium acidity, and a nice medium finish. Went well with the leg of pork that we roasted with a coriander and white peppercorn rub.

Lovely noise of dried herbs. Thin on the palate with an unbalanced dark fruit body and overly bitter finish. Perhaps oxidized but the cork was pristine.

Super wine. Definitely showing age, bu in a good way. Minimal fruit but loads of the jerky and mineraly flavors true to cayuse. Extremely interesting on nose with fragrat tones that you can smell far away from the glass

This was outstanding. Decanted for 20 min. Fantastic nose of very dark fruits, smoky bacon, and hints of violets. It continues to open and change in the glass with hints of earth and tar. The palate is full, rich, has velvety tannins that are well integrated and remains well balanced and nimble. Its finish seems to linger for ages. Very impressive. Still has at least another 5, probably 10 years of beautiful drinking.

Really enjoyed this. Definitely not youthful anymore but drinking well and doesn’t seem close to falling off.
