  While opening the cork ended up inside the bottle. On the nose cigarbox, coffee and leather aromas. In the mouth, there was a burst of juicy blue then black fruit and complex earth flavors mixed with soft powerful tannins. There was a short finish in terms of intensity but the flavors persisted throughout the long aftertaste. This bottle was in great shape with plenty of life! A great example of traditional Burgundian winemaking. Incredibly young compared to its 57 years of age!
