  • For a bottle that was purchased in a supermarket in Guizhou, Mainland China, this bottle represents good quality/value that you couldn't easily find in a French red wine at the same price here in China. This smelled, tasted and drank like a Rioja. The body is medium, the nose smells of Spain, and the mid-palate and finish are satisfying. For the price paid here in China where transport and import costs (tax, etc) immediately double the retail price in Europe, you get a decent table wine for your money whereas French reds here for the same price tend to be somewhat disappointing. This is not a keeper, but it's good to drink now.
