Enjoyed along with several other Oregon pinots. It was somewhat surprising how good this wine showed. Very mature secondary aromas with some smoke, savory cherry and earth notes. Nice mid-palate weight and mouthfeel. Tannins resolved. Silky with very nice finish. Served blind, this could certainly confuse many in being a burgundy. Yes, Oregon pinots can age!

Older Oregon Pinots (Wildwood, Portland OR): nose: extremely pretty and aromatic nose of red fruits, incense, red cherries, spice tones and a good amount of violets. Very classy and understated on the nose
taste: very refined and elegant medium body with medium+ acidity and beautifully balanced tones of red fruits, spice tones, red cherries and all sorts of violets and various floral tones
overall: yet another pretty wine that begged for your attention. Wonderfully balanced on both the nose and palate with a very feminine take to it that made it very attractive

Old Oregon Pinot Noir - Wine Berserker off-line (Wildwood restaurant - Portland, OR): Showing aged old wood, rich cherries, vanilla, and earth. There is a sweet edge to the nose, smells really delicious. Very full mouthfeel immediately evident. Peppered red fruit, ripe grapefruit, brown sugar, hints of bitter chocolate as the tannins pick up in the finish. Very well built and structured. Very long finish. This wine is beautifully composed in it's age. Overall very complex and delicious.
