  Garnet with bricking and visible sediment. On the nose: it's almost like an old french cellar, similar to botytis, and raisin. On the palate: bing cherry, raspberry, blackberry, spice/ white pepper, porchini mushroom, loam, violet, & herbs de Provence. Still has a bit of acidity but the tannins are well integrated. Balanced and on it's way out. Drink up over next year or two. Finish is medium-long. Excellent 14 year old Cab Franc though

  A favorite at our cab-franc tasting. Ripe and rich, nice underlying acidity, full bodied and smoky. Not at all like a Loire cab-franc, but most would prefer this version.
