Very dark with ruby highlights. Cedar, forest, and bramble nose. Medium to full bodied, dark cherries, raspberry pie, black pepper, well integrated tannins, smoke, sage, and a dry, medium to long finish. Great with food. One of the better Zins I've had in a while. Plenty of life left.

Wavering between 88 & 89. For now I'll go upward, though I still have 1/3 of the bottle and may revise.

Big zin, young, lots of black cherry, blackberry, a bit of black pepper and grilled meat. Medium acid/tannins. These should age a decade or more.
