Cherries plum and a little rhubarb with a tiny amount of white pepper. Balanced but leaning to the sweet side. Just when you wonder where are the tannins, pow they hit you like a soft feather. Next time I’ll buy more than one. Worth the time in the cellar.

Medium color. In the nose, deep aromas of dark cherry and plum which continue to the palate enhanced with hints of mint, herbs and an earthy smokiness. The wine is beautifully balanced, shows well integrated tannins and a smooth, round and full texture. Medium to full bodied, medium finish where it does fade away a bit.

The nose is elegant with spices, red fruits especially plums. On the palate, Ultra smooth, with black fruits, earth, granite, tobacco notes. Medium to medium low acidity, medium dry. Knowing that I was going to open this for dinner (served with BBQ smoked ribs, sautéed spiced potatoes and grilled asparagus) I opened it in the morning first thing, and let it breathe all day. Then decanted it one hour before service. The results were supple and smooth but not weak, definitely a robust wine. What's most interesting is it speaks more of an old world cab from Bordeaux than a central coast blend from Napa. Wonderful wine.

Lighter than expected from a cabernet sauvignon, but nice sweet/spicy notes

Very young but was serious promise. Would let sit for 2 to 5 years.
