This 92+ is more of a "I'm not really sure how to score one of these" than anything else. I mean at 42 years on it tastes great - that's surely worth a few points right?!
Its amber colored in the glass but still light and fragrant, not at all heavy and syrupy. The sweet acid balance is GREAT - a bit of both so not cloying but not too acidic either. Wow. It just tastes fantastic. It would be so cool to be able to do a vertical of these (hint hint - anyone from La Tour Blanche reading this PLEASE invite me round - I'll fly/get there on my own dime, not to worry). Clean finish that lingers. So nice.
