A union of fruits from the Barossa & Coonawarra. Surprising! I thought, a young cab sav, not always a good bet.... A deep vibrant ruby into the glass. Aromas, vibrant, ripe blackcurrents, pinch of raspberry, slight vanilla oak, faint hint of bandaid. To the lips, and, juicy blackcurrent fruits, good acids, big and smoothish, a light humm of vanilla oak, faint clove, med+ body. No tannin backbite you would normally associate with young cab. I think the wine maker achieved the objective of what they set out to do. A very enjoyable satisfying young cab sav, and great value! In my opinion best enjoyed young! Enjoyed. Cheers!
