  • Wow. I was worried this would be on the older/oxidized end of the continuum, and fortunately I was wrong. This was a perfect accompaniment to steamed lobster. Rich, viscous, just enough acidity remaining, I’m just sorry this was the last bottle in the cellar.

  • This was a nice Condrieu, showed the warmth of the year, but still enjoyable. Ripe tropical fruits on the nose with honeysuckle and lilac, just a hint of minerality. The palate is rich and while still with some good energy, lacks a bit of freshness to be excellent. I'd drink this sooner rather than later to capture the remaining vibrancy.

  • Aromatique florale, sur la violette et l'abricot. Un peu de miel mais suffisamment d'amers pour pas que ce soit lourd, pesant. Bon vin, mais je reste dubitatif sur le rapport qualité-prix de Condrieu en général.

Aromatic floral, violets and apricots. Ripe fruits, a little honey but enough bitter to not be too heavy. Good wine, but I remain dubious about the price-quality ratio of Condrieu in general.

  • not generally a viognier fan but this is a very nice example. nose of rocks, peach, white flowers, and honeysuckle. palate is white peach, rocks, and a phenolic bitterness prickle. pretty low acidity.

  • This was very good, a bit ripe but thats the vintage; a beautiful floral nose of jasmine, honeysuckle, ginger, ripe peach and poached pear. The palate shoes a bit more richness than I would normally expect, but I think that is just the true representation of the vintage. Overall very enjoyable, look forward to trying other vintages. This was better to me than the 2015 Guigal Condrieu which I recently had as well.
