Promising color and bouquet but, on the palate, the acid is dominating the fruit for a short, somewhat tart finish. Not bad but not likely to ever become harmonious or integrated. I think they used to call this style a "food wine" back in the early '80s.
Drink up.

French Bakery BYO 1990's Cali Cab Sauv dominant wines; 12/19/2007-12/20/2007: Deirdre's flight. Deirdre said that these early 80's wines, had only been kept in a wine closet. Cork crumbled on extraction. The Simi was the best of the flight, and still showed some life, as did the 83 Georges Latour. I would have liked to try these wines with proper cellaring.Deirdre was going to call Zelma Long, and tell her how this wine held up vs the BV and Inglenook.
