Lemon, apple, floral melange up front with a nice minerally / chalky and also almond cookie core and some banana / coconut / tropical fruit in back on a longish, somewhat steely finish. Elements of both Burgundy and California chards in this. Maybe a few more of the CA characteristics than I care for in chard, but also that seems appropriate for a very warm year in OR. "Wow this is good" she says. Another win for the 'Home Team'.
