  Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of black peppercorns, dried red cherries, leather and a hint of green pepper; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is still fresh with addition of dried blackberries and soil; long finish; drinking really well now, but could last a few more years - why wait?

  Cherry, sandalwood, hints of strawberry and peppers. Medium body and acidity , mild tannins. Very enjoyable don’t think it would age and improve any longer. 10 years.

  Last bottle. Medium bodied but not a heavy mouthfeel. Still a bit of freshness on the overall feel. Dusty and bitter tannins (not sweet ripe). Darker berries, black cherries (semi sweet on the fruit with some bitterness on the finish), black pepper, and a mineral and herbal element on the finish. Drinking very nicely.

  Drinking very nicely. Medium weight but not heavy on the mouthfeel. Still a good fruit component ... darker berries, ripe black cherries. Maybe a bit of a smooth sweet-ish compote feel without the syrupy feel. Spices, and pepper on the mid-palate to finish. Some black tea as well. Medium length to finish. Still a freshness feel to it.
