  • As noted by others, there is variation in the bottles but this one was excellent, especially considering the price. It showed golden color, floral, honey, candied peach notes in a medium + intensity nose. Good richness on the palate mirroring the nose but with white flowers, burnt sugar, caramel added - all in full intensity. The alcohol and acidity were in balance. The finish was long bringing in apricot and dried fruit notes and a slight bitter note. It is displaying both secondary and tertiary notes. Good bottles of it should drink well over the next few years. You won't mistake it for Cru Classe but it's a heck of a value.

  • Nice citrus, ripe peach and melon. Acid barely medium and trying to hold on. Great QPR even now.

  • Purchased three bottles of this, all of showing different colors, or hues, and tasted them together.

The darkest colored bottle, dark amber to bronze, was oxidized. It showed like Pedro Ximénez Sherry.

This, the middle colored bottle, offered prototypical Sauternes elements, including near perfect botrytis levels. Rustic, balanced, and featuring effusive 'sweet' umami. This bottle also delivered the most potent structure. 91-92.

  • Purchased three bottles of this, all of showing different colors, or hues, and tasted them together.

The lightest colored bottle showed copious tropical and stone fruit. Light botrytis and honey notes. Very good to excellent acid. Decidedly tasty.
