Tasted at Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, FL. Bees wax and linoleum frame a citrus and banana fruit. Hardy any hints of oxidative notes on the nose. Adds white chocolate, almonds, baked apple and apricot notes over time. The palate advancing and showing age, but not totally mature with even a citric and fresh finish. Just marginal Sherry-like notes, but in no way dominant. Past its prime, but still going reasonably (and impressively) strong. No point in waiting any further.
