Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Popped and poured. One of the lightest colors on a wine I have ever seen. It was slightly cloudy but looked like a light red apple cider in the glass. This was beyond bricking with almost a touch of brown toward the edges. The nose was really quite nice actually. Lots of baking spice notes with cinammon and clove coming through along with some dried cherries. Acidity was also still medium but absolutely zero tannins. As a result, the wine felt a bit flat and lifeless on the palate. I had higher hopes for this wine but ufortunately, this wine was consumed a few years too late IMO.
