Late night at Maison Dakota with neighbourhood friends. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs. Fine bubbles. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of brioche, citrus lemon-lime, stony minerality, hint of marzipan. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium body. Medium+ flavour itnensity, with flavours of brioche, biscuit, citrus lemon-lime, green and yellow apples, golden peach, hint oxidative nut. Long finish. Develops more voluminous feels with more air. Very good quality. Showing nicely. Should develop well also. Disgorged Sep 2022. Dosage 2g/l. Base vintage 2017.

Typische Chardonnay-Nase, sehr weinig - , Meursault’ - aber heftig hefig- auf der gelben Seite - zitrisch. Abgang mir einen Hint zu bitter, malzig? - ja fast bierig. Pils. Braucht Luft zur vollen Entfaltung und Balancefindung.

A pretty classic BdB but with some lingering bitterness and cat pee on the finish. Drank over three days but not much development. Good acidity and citrus notes, and some hints of vanilla too. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

Lovely lightness and precision. Meyer lemon and a hint of tonic. Dug this even more than Echapee.
