Deep garnet color. The nose is quite nice, showing cassis and cherry. On the palate, the fruit is powerful, especially for a cru Beaujolais. Notes of black fruit and black licorice. Supple tannins balances the acidity. Traditional wines from Côte de Brouilly show medium bodied, fruity wine with mineral notes. I would have pegged this as a Morgon or Moulin-à-Vent. This wine is a great example of why cru Beaujolais is getting so much hype. 2015 is described as a classic vintage, and this wine supports that.

Decent Beaujoulais, good concentration, and fun. Earthy tones on the nose along with some spice and jam. Should drink well over the next three years let it decant for a half hour.

Dark fruit (cherry, slight cassis , raspberry), minerality, slight floral, good acidity, some tannins, spice. Bright fruit. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
