  I have good memories of this wine from some 40 years ago when it was widely available in the UK. Either I have become harder to please or the wine has deteriorated (perhaps a bit of both), because I found this bottle quite boring. It had very little bouquet on the nose and was quite dark complexioned and lacking in freshness on the medium bodied palate. There was a certain amount creamy white fruit lurking in the background but not enough to provide interest. Hardly good.
