Similar to my last note 6/22. A bit bigger and extracted than I was expecting for a chambolle but still very nice red fruit, a bit woody. I didn’t mean to drink my last bottle of this because I think it will better integrate and settle down. But in my current cellar disarray it was easy to reach.

I enjoyed this wine over two nights. Lovely nose of florals and red fruits, cherries, berries, woody notes and mint on the palate. Smooth tannins and nicely acidic. A bit shorter on the finish but otherwise really nice.

Pretty tight, classic red cherry, long mineral streak, and then a tannic finish. Hold.

Mixed terroir from both high and low altitudes.
Nose: Juicy red berries like cherries and wild strawberries, mint, oak spice, a little leather, violets.
Palate: Very juicy with a lovely mouthfeel. Elegant, smooths tannins, nice acidity, maybe a little more full-bodied than other similar wines.
Luckily, it was surprisingly open at this point.
