Some tartness and minerality on the nose. The palate follows with some notes of pear and white flowers. The acidity is at a good level, but to me it tends slightly towards bitterness on the fairly short finish.
As an entry level burgundy I don't find this very interesting, and it's not great QPR at the ~US$22 that I paid, and would be really poor QPR at the CAV of US$33.

Bright yellow color. Juicy crisp apples and a certain richness of unoaked Chardonnay. Good straight-as-an-arrow acidity with nice pear flavors (fresh and baked) hanging off of it. Strong acidic backbone. No discernible oak. Call me crazy, but at this stage, it tastes a lot like a premier cru Chablis.

No discernable flaws but somewhat bland. Mute nose and nothing exciting on the palate either. Will try a second bottle in a couple months to see if it was just a poor showing.
