Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Short single piece cork, came out whole, no sign of seepage, minimal saturation.

N: VA on opening, some clear notes of oxidation, old books, leather, chocolate milkshake, raspberry lindt chocolate. It all settles down after a while.

P: smooth, old oak, leather, good concentration, VA finish, slight heat. A singular, rustic, fruity wine with personality. Again there is oxidation on the palate, not oft putting to me.

    100% old vine monastrell, destemmed
Drink or hold to 2028, no upside anticipated
    14% abv
