  • Floral viognier nose, off-dry, changing personality depending on temperature and time in the glass. Not unlike a slightly sweeter, more robust, more complex version of the Burgans Albarino that we like so much. Color is as shown on bottle (transparent bottle) and it made for a pleasant pairing with goat cheese, pork loin, and the second day, with garlicky sauteed and roasted chicken with capers and tomatoes. Depending on context, can seem either too sweet or too acidic, or just right. Interesting and worth trying at least once, though it's too expensive to have around as a house white (for my budget).

  • Very interesting blend. Honey, spices and tinned pears on the nose, though not sweet in the mouth. Tasted slightly oaked and the flavor was of reserved lemons with undercurrents of pears.

  • Soft, round, and lush wine. Aromas of honeyed peach and flowers. Aromas sweeter than the palate, which has a nice mouthfeel and reasonable complexity. Good white Rhone blend.

  • 62% Rousanne, 31% Viognier, 7% Marsanne. Bouquet of pear, honey, almonds and jasmine. Goes with truffled pasta dishes and glazed pork roasts. Or after dinner sipping with figs and aged cheese.
