high dry extract ratio, brambly fruit, black cherry, blood orange, citrus fruit, tea leaves, pomegranate, floral spice mix, roses, carnations and cinnamon. Ample acidity due to the high skin to juice ratio. richer, generous mouthfeel, this has the ‘gras’ as the French would say, there is a bit more bacon fat in the texture which is rather nice.

Oldmanzin nailed it but I had it a point lower. Dark fruit profile that was smooth and tasted terrific. Patz & Hall normally delivers on the experience they provide. I really enjoyed this effort.

Dark fruit, garrigue and bright spice notes come together to create the most exuberant Pinot in the Patz & Hall portfolio. Layers and layers of goodness. This wine is full of excitement. Good juice.

Decent but not one of the better P&H Pinots we've had...and we've had a lot as we are fans. We usually score P&H in the mid 90s. Over several nights (stored on nitrogen), the final try was the best as we gave it 2 hours of air and that helped smooth it out. Without air it's a tad monolithic though it does possess some tasty dark fruit. Tried the traditional and New World Pinot bowls and preferred the NW bowl.

Looks like blackberry juice. Lots of juicy mixed berries. Nice wine, but not a great qpr.
