This is in a great spot right now. The balance is really there compared to a couple years ago when the acidity was still a bit much. Aromas of pineapples, ripe banana, lime zest, vanilla bean, and saline. Nearly every aroma carries to the palate in an easy drinking wonderful Chardonnay.

Still showing youthful without much development. The best feature of my most recent bottle was an outstanding oily texture. You get the sense that this fruit was picked early, so while the flavors are citric and to the lean side, there’s this beautiful viscosity (although I’m pretty sure no concrete egg on this bottling). Going strong. It’s hard to go wrong with a Failla Chard

Consistent with previous bottle. Great balance of fruit and acid with just a touch of creamy oak. Lovely bottle of chardonnay that paired perfectly with a buttery summer squash pasta dish.

Gorgeous wine! One of our favorites from our visit last spring. Aromas of lemon, pear skin, honey and almonds. Medium body with fantastic balance. Palate with tons of pear, lime zest, vanilla, pineapple and honeydew and a finish of sea salt that keeps bringing you back for more! Curious to give my others a couple more years.

Ottimo Chardonnay. Sembra un premier cru di Puligny.
