  Extremely inviting nose, much more open than I'd expected for a Méo. Luscious, yet restrained in ripeness. Lots of cherry, wild strawberry and a beginning, discrete touch of sous bois. The palate is a little simple, but has ample intensity without being too extracted or heavy. I reckon this probably needs another 2-3 years before it will show some complexity and tertiary notes.
