Poured blind. Ripe tropical fruit, papaya, guava. Saffron, almond cream. Rich and waxy, but bone dry. A 80-20 blend of Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng. Very much outside of my wheelhouse with this, no way I'd go there as a guess, especially given it was my first time with trying Petit Courbu. Guessed aged semillion.

Ripe papaya, passion fruit, pineapple - full throttle tropical fruits (probably from manseng which is only 20% of the blend), and lemon/grapefruit, honey, and butter (Petit Courbu, 80%). Nuttiness like almond powder. Solid square shaped acidity. The age and rich waxy texture is removing all the harsh edge and making it harmonious mellow liquid. Well integrated vanilla/oak. Long finish. Will hold for a long time, but already entered into the optimal window of maturity.
It was a struggle to pair with food. Unexpectedly went well with grilled chicken liver.

OMG #105 (Ann Arbor, MI): Vibrant, crunchy, very dry finish. I like it a lot!

Slightly oxidized. Great orange color. Weighty, dry, slightly tannic. Went well with trader Joe’s orange chicken.

A lot of complexity for the price. Like a good dry Chenin, with beeswax and honey notes, and a bit of nutty oxidation. A serious white.
