Still loads of fruit and aromas of grapefruit on this elegant Sauvignon. Still, the acidity is starting to fade so won’t last too much longer. A great Sauvignon though.

My lone bottle and this Sauv Blanc was delicious. Excellent bottle with some age that exhibited both a great nose and a wonderful flavor profile on the palate. Minerality and grapefruit with a long lingering finish. Exceptional and sad this was my lone bottle.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. We bought this from the winery tasting room even though we are not on the list. My memory is that they are closed now to dropins and you have to be on the list to visit but I’m not 100% sure. So heads up.
This is a “why bother” note. I mean really, it’s a Sauvignon Blanc. What are you comparing it to? Kim Crawford? Fresh fruit on the palate that shows restraint. Perhaps picked somewhat under ripe? Lightweight in body; notes of oak which seem out of place and gives it an off putting profile. Ends with a sweet sour finish. Fair to Good. (I guess we liked it better at the tasting room).

Served blind Pale straw gold Non-aromatic Light yeasty grapefruit flavors Nice balance, but drink up while it still has some charm. Belies its RRV roots
